How WRR Helps

WRR takes joy in providing educational materials, including parenting and finance books, to educate
women through classes & understand how to manage finances.

WRR educates employees to be able to teach MRT (Moral Reconation Therapy) and other important
courses to peers in recovery.

WRR helps to provide eye glasses, and medical needs that come up outside of insurance coverage.

WRR helps cover Christmas for mothers who would otherwise not have funds to do so.
WRR helps cover camping trips every quarter for Mom’s in recovery, to be able to spend quality time
with their children.

WRR also helps people in Recovery that are struggling getting their rent, or program fee caught up.

This helps so they are not additionally stressed trying to recover early.

WRR also offers a Food Bank to people in recovery anywhere in Athens, Clarke County.

We understand that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey. That’s why we provide a range of support

Education & Awareness

We offer workshops, support groups, and outreach programs to educate individuals and the broader community about substance use disorder and the recovery process.

Sponsorship & Financial Assistance

Recovery can be costly, and financial barriers should never stand in the way of healing. We provide sponsorship opportunities for intake fees, treatment program fees, and essential recovery-related expenses.

Healthcare Support

Good health is a cornerstone of recovery. We assist with dental repairs and cleanings, eyeglasses, and other medical necessities that are often overlooked but critical for a fresh start.

Family Support

Addiction affects the entire family. Our family-focused programs offer counseling, education, and resources to help loved ones heal together.
